Pastor

The First Christian Church of Buffalo, Missouri, is actively searching for our next full-time pastor. We are located in the heart of the Ozarks and a short drive from many area lakes, Bennett’s Spring State Park and the city of Springfield, Missouri.

We are seeking a pastor with spiritual maturity reflecting the character of Christ in both his private and public life. A pastor that –

Has a passion for the guidance and growth of God’s Church through the preaching of His Word.
Communicates meaning and insight from Scripture in a way that connects with the congregation
Effectively leads the congregation in learning, understanding, and application.
Is sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit
Has excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to reflectively listen.
Possesses the ability to disciple, teach and shepherd members of the church community.
Maintains a healthy balance of personal growth in the Lord, family life, and ministry life.

Ministry experience preferred, but not required.

Baccalaureate degree from an Accredited Institution and Master of Divinity or equivalent preferred, but not required.
