Preaching & Teaching Minister

Lane Christian Church is seeking a full-time Teaching & Preaching Minister. Lane Church is a independent rural Christian church with an average attendance of 80-100. The minister reports to and operates under the guidance of the elected Elders. Note: housing/parsonage available as part of salary.  Relocation incentive also provided.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging sermons and teachings that inspire and educate the congregation.
Provide bereavement support and Christian counseling to individuals and families in need.
Plan and organize church events and activities to foster community engagement.
Mentor and guide church members, offering conflict management and crisis intervention when necessary.
Collaborate with church leadership to develop programs that enhance spiritual growth and community outreach.
This position does not have a defined schedule, in that there are no set office hours. However, ½- 1 day per week will be scheduled as office hours to allow for individuals to come in without making an appointment.
While there is no defined schedule, the average weekly time needed to fulfill required tasks is +/- 40 hours
Qualifications Needed:

Must be able to relate well with leadership, staff, members, volunteers, and guests
Must be a flexible and teachable team player and leader
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Proven leadership and effective communication abilities
Excellent writing skills for sermon preparation and teaching materials
