Residency Program | Converge Northeast

The Northeast corner of America is our nation’s most unchurched, least Gospel-saturated region. Many New England, New York, and New Jersey communities qualify as unreached people groups. The fields are white for harvest. We are praying for God to send us the workers.

Converge Northeast is excited to invite you to our new Common Application for Church-based residency programs. In one form, candidates can connect with church leaders at Converge affiliate churches who are committed to investing in emerging leaders to develop effective pastors.

We need qualified Kingdom workers to lead Gospel-centered churches. In our experience, the best way to equip and launch a pastor or planter into this mission field is through a residency program hosted by a local church.

Our Church-based residency programs provide a proven pathway for long-term success in ministry in the Northeast. This application form will put your name and information in front of key leaders at multiple programs. This is your next step if you desire to pastor and/or plant a church in the northeast.

• Learn from experienced pastors and leaders passionate about equipping and training.
• Develop contextual experience in hands-on ministry in the Northeast.
• Assess your calling and be launched forward with the support of an invested sending church and network.

Most residencies include compensation and may also include housing.
