Early Childhood Educator

As an Early Childhood Teacher at Bethel Preschool and Daycare, you will play a vital role in fostering the growth and development of young children. Located in a supportive and enriching environment, this position is essential to our mission of delivering high quality Christian education and care to our students.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and learn.
Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with PA Early Learning Standards
Monitor and assess children’s progress in various areas of development.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development and daily activities.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social skills and emotional growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and classroom that promotes learning and discovery.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education field.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a safe learning environment.
Qualifications

Bachelor / AA degree in Early Childhood or related field, CDA – Child Deveopment Associate certificate Preferred.
Must have high school diploma with experience working with children.
Understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
Ability to create engaging age-appropriate lesson plans.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents and co-workers.
Knowledge of early childhood learning standards and regulation.
A passion for nurturing young children and supporting their education development.
